Having worked as a textile designer for 3 years in the Liverpool my husband and I moved to our rural life in a whirl wind. I was need of a change; it was either going to be soap or jam.

I began making soaps and what not four years ago when I decided to produce favours for our wedding.

I made small bars of goat’s milk soap, wrapped up in a pretty pale blue box. Loving all things vintage I Inside I placed a little 1930s verse cards saying ‘shower me with your sweet love, let it pour, let it pour. Well, it went down a treat (so much so that some people thought it was fudge!). Our guests loved it; I loved making it and so began my cottage industry.

I like to keep all of my recipes quite simple. I choose each ingredient a bit like my sense of colour; I choose what comes naturally. The look of my products, for me, is as equally as important as the quality. Loving all things vintage, naturally my packaging ideas have a nostalgic feel.

Every product I make is made using completely natural ingredients free from the chemical nasties of modern day life.
